I’ve been painting with acrylic paints since I was 10 years old. It’s my favorite medium, and I never tire of pushing myself to come up with new uses for them. I mainly paint on gallery-wrapped canvas and canvas boards, and I love painting on anything from a teeny miniature to a large canvas!

My favorite author has to be Jane Austen. I can’t get enough of her novels, and my library at home is full of multiple copies of each of her works, as well as many Jane Austen inspired books. To honor her I began this series of paintings, which is named after her most famous hero, Mr.Darcy from Pride & Prejudice. Most of the ladies I’ve painted for this series are in Regency-era apparel, but I’ve also added some contemporary sisters to join their ranks. After all, why can’t a modern girl have fun dreaming of Mr.Darcy, too?!
